Chapter 10 —— Idiot

"[Name]! Wait there!" Jean yelled chasing you from behind, "I won't give up this time!"

He sure is persistent. But, it's for he's sake too, so you kept running.

"Ah!" You stopped in front of the wall, "Dead end!"

"[Name]!" He pushed you on the wall and locked you between his arms, "I finally catch you."

He went all the way to catch you, he didn't hate you but came back to you. You felt your heart ache and start to cry.

"Gah! What? Did I push too hard? I-I-I-I'm sorry!! So, stop crying! Nee?"

"Idiot..." You whispered.

"Yes, I'm the idiot! Sorry for being the idiot and stop crying okay?"

"Idiot..."

"Okay, I know, I know! I'm the idiot alright? I'm sorry for being the idiot!"

"You said it twice..."

"Because I'm a idiot! But..." He paused, "This idiot doesn't want to hurt you, I just... I just want to ask you a question... Why are you running away from us?"

You calmed a bit, you sat beside Jean. No one talked at the beginning. He sat beside you, listening to your sobs quietly.

When you finally calmed down, you told him almost everything, about your nightmare, and you were scared, and you felt bad for avoiding them.

"I see, then I think it's normal for you. But, don't worry! If really such a guy exist and is hurting you, I'll beat him up!"

You chuckled lightly, you felt relief, though you don't consider this case that simple.

"Thank Jean. You always worry so much about me, you're like Eren."

"It's different." He said.

"Huh? What do you mean?"

"It's different from me and Eren. Don't compare me to that kind of person. I worry about you! Much more than he do..." He looked away.

"What I mean is..." He looked back at you, " I... I... I... I am..."

"Oi, brats! What are you doing?"

"Corporal!" Jean nervously saluted.

"Leave." Levi ordered.

"Y-yes!" Jean glared a last time a you and leaved.

"[Name]!"

"Gasp! L-Levi! I..."

"Your eyes are red! Did that brat made you cry?"

"N-no, it's that... something got in my eyes..."

"Is that so... I got worried."

He was worried, you felt bad, you thought he was going to get angry or hurt you. Again you felt guilt.

"Let's go back."

"Yeah." You followed him.
