Chapter 6 —— Friends

"Hmm? What is it?" Levi asked gently.

"L-Levi... What's this gash on my face?" You asked trying keep your voice calm.

It's not like you want to doubt him or anything, but...

"Oh, I'm sorry..." He suddenly look sad, "It's yesterday. I think you were to tired, you faint while drinking the tea, you fell with the cup on the floor, and the sharp pieces caused you hurt."

"I-is that so..." You signed. Yeah, it makes sense. And seeing his sad look, your heart soften.

"I'm sorry, really. But don't worry, you're still beautiful even with it."

"L-Levi..." You didn't realize he worried and loved you so much, you felt guilty for doubting him. "I'm the one who should apologize..." You whispered.

"Hmm? You said something?"

"Aa!! Don't mind me! Let's hurry or we'll be late!"

"Okay."

"Then I'll be leaving, Heichou"

"Yeah, take care. And..." He move forward and whispered, "You can still come back tonight if you're scared..."

"U-understood!" You answered nervously and walked away as you blush.

Walking slowly in the hall way, you felt the strange gaze from the others.

"Why are they staring at me? Is there something on my face? Oh gosh!" You quickly shifted your hand on your face to check, but there isn't anything."

"Hmm? Weird? There's nothing, but they're still glaring at me... Ah!" You bumped into someone.

"A-ah! Ano... I'm sorry!!" You closed your eyes, scared if the person gets mad.

"[Name]! Is it you?"

"Hey, [Name]!"

"Eren! Jean! Hi! I'm so glad it was you guys, if it was someone else, I wouldn't know what to do..."

"Nee, [Name]... Are you okay!?" Eren asked.

"Huh?"

"You look so pale!! What happened!?" Jean exclaimed.

"Eeh?! Is that so?" That's why everyone were staring at you?

"I'll take you to the infirmaries!" Eren took your hand.

"Ah! Eren! Don't take advantage! I'm coming too!" Jean yelled.

"Haa? Don't come!"

"Don't you see I'm worried too?"

"You guys! Stop it! You're really exaggerating! I'm okay! Really!" You tried to stop them.

"..." They looked at you, and each other, then looked away which only made you chuckle.


~Narration~

The three cadets walked away. The boys fight, the girl laugh. But far away, where the girl don't notice, a pair of blue steel sinister eyes stared at every of her movement.
